The high-temperature-resistant magnesite-chrome castable is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 10-20 parts of waste magnesite-chrome bricks of which the granularity is greater than 3mm and less than or equal to 6mm; 30-40 parts of waste magnesite-chrome bricks with the particle size larger than 1 mm and smaller than or equal to 3 mm; 20-30 parts of waste magnesite-chrome bricks with the particle size larger than 0 mm and smaller than or equal to 1 mm; 5-15 parts of 325-mesh Barkstein refined chromium ore; 10-20 parts of 97 high-purity magnesia with a particle size of 200 meshes; 1-10 parts of 200-mesh pure calcium aluminate cement; 5-10 parts of 200-mesh pure calcium aluminate cement; 1-5 parts of alpha-Al2O3 micro powder of 325 meshes; 1-3 parts of boric acid; 1-5 parts of 325-mesh silica fume powder; and 1-5 parts of sodium hexametaphosphate. With the high-temperature-resistant magnesium-chromium castable prepared from the waste magnesium-chromium bricks adopted, secondary utilization of the waste magnesite-chrome bricks is realized, the castable is excellent in performance, the consumption of refractory materials is reduced, and the consumption of smelteries is reduced.
