The invention discloses a limiting lap joint structure, a suspended ceiling assembly and a mounting method of the suspended ceiling assembly, relates to the technical field of decoration engineering, and aims to solve the problem that in the prior art, a groove needs to be formed in a suspended ceiling plate, so that the requirement for the material of the suspended ceiling plate is high. The limiting lap joint structure comprises at least two mounting keels, a first lap joint piece and a second lap joint piece. The mounting keel comprises a top plate and two supporting plates extending from the two opposite ends of the top plate in the width direction to the same side, and the top plate is used for being fixedly connected with a roof. The mounting keel further comprises a first mounting structure and a second mounting structure which are connected to the two supporting plates, and the first mounting structure and the second mounting structure are located on the two opposite sides of the two supporting plates. The first lap joint piece is fixedly connected with a suspended ceiling plate and is in lap joint with the first mounting structure; the first lap joint piece and the first mounting structure are in limiting fit in the width direction of the top plate; and the second lap joint piece is fixedly connected with the suspended ceiling plate and is in lap joint with the second mounting structure. The limiting lap joint structure is used for mounting the suspended ceiling plate.
