The invention discloses a trackless sliding door and window which comprises two longitudinal frames, two guide rail assemblies and two sliding window bodies. The two longitudinal frames are oppositely arranged above the ground, and a top frame is connected to the upper portions of the two longitudinal frames; two mounting grooves are formed in the bottom of the top frame, the two sliding window bodies are arranged in the two mounting grooves in a sliding manner respectively, the two guide rail assemblies are in guide fit with the two sliding window bodies respectively, each guide rail assembly comprises an embedded part embedded in the ground, mounting plates are arranged above the embedded parts, and supporting columns are arranged above the mounting plates; and guide plates are arranged above the supporting columns, a plurality of guide wheels are rotationally arranged at the two sides of the guide plate, a sectional material is arranged at the bottom of each sliding window body, guide grooves are formed in the bottoms of the sectional materials, and the guide wheels at the two sides of the guide plates are attached to the two inner side walls of the corresponding guide grooves respectively. Compared with the prior art, the trackless sliding door and window has the advantages of cleanness, sanitation, higher practicability and convenience in popularization.
