The invention relates to the technical field of constructional engineering, in particular to an inverted lifting type welded ball net rack and an assembling method thereof. Four first inserting grooves are formed in the bottom of an upper ball body, second inserting grooves are formed in the top of a lower ball body, two third inserting grooves are formed in the side face of the lower ball body, four lower chord members are inserted into the corresponding third inserting grooves, and therefore a square bottom frame is formed; and one ends of diagonal draw bars are inserted into the second inserting grooves, the other ends of the diagonal draw bars are inserted into the first inserting grooves, the two ends of the diagonal draw bars are correspondingly welded to the upper ball bodies and the lower ball bodies, the lower chord members are welded between the two adjacent lower ball bodies, the lower chord members and the diagonal draw bars are positioned through the first inserting grooves, the second inserting grooves and the third inserting grooves, and therefore the structure of a net rack unit is more accurate.
