The invention relates to a hydraulic engineering desilting device and a desilting method thereof. The desilting device comprises a base, wherein a supporting rod is arranged on the upper surface of the base, a rotating rod I penetrates through and is rotationally connected to the top end of the supporting rod, at least one connecting rod is arranged on the peripheral side wall of the rotating rod I, a scraping plate is arranged on the end, away from the rotating rod I, of the connecting rod, and the base is provided with a power piece which is used for driving the rotating rod I to rotate; supporting plates are arranged on the upper surfaces of both sides of the base, rotating rods II are rotationally connected to the supporting plates, water guiding pipes are arranged on the rotating rods II, and the ends, away from the supporting plates, of the water guiding pipes communicate with sprayers; a stirring mechanism which is used for stirring sludge accumulated at the bottom in a pipeline is arranged on one end, close to the scraping plate, of the base; and rotating shafts I penetrate through and are rotationally connected to the bottoms of both ends of the base, rollers are coaxially arranged on both ends of each rotating shaft I, and a driving mechanism which is used for driving the rotating shafts I and the rotating rods II to rotate synchronously is arranged on the base. The hydraulic engineering desilting device has the effect that the desilting sufficiency of the inner wall of the pipeline is improved, so that the cleaning degree of the inner wall of the pipeline is improved.
