The pile machine comprises supporting feet, a pile rod and a pile machine base, the pile machine base is integrally in a flat plate shape and is provided with at least three base layers which are sequentially the first base layer, the second base layer and the third base layer from bottom to top, and the first base layer, the second base layer and the third base layer are stacked, a transverse hydraulic oil cylinder is arranged in the first base layer, a longitudinal hydraulic oil cylinder is arranged in the second base layer, the pile rod is arranged on the third base layer, the first base layer and the second base layer are connected so that the second base layer can be driven to move when the first base layer moves, the second base layer and the third base layer are connected, the third base layer can be driven to move when the second base layer moves, and the four corners of the third base layer are vertically connected with a plurality of supporting feet through cross beam rods. The invention further provides an automatic walking method of the pile machine. The pile machine is ingenious and reasonable in structural design, and automatic and safe walking on a construction site can be successfully achieved.
