The building foundation pit drainage system comprises an open trench formed in the circumferential direction of the edge of the bottom of a foundation pit, a water collecting well formed in the trench bottom of the open trench, a drainage pipe stretching into the water collecting well, and a water pump installed on the foundation pit and used for being connected with the drainage pipe; the building foundation pit drainage system further comprises a supporting mechanism arranged in the water collecting well; the supporting mechanism comprises a well supporting box of a rectangular structure; the well supporting box comprises four corner supports distributed in a rectangular shape and four connecting plates used for connecting the adjacent corner supports; and each corner support comprises two perpendicular corner plates, wherein sliding grooves are formed in the sides, away from each other, of the two corner plates of the corner support, and positioning plates are arranged on the two opposite sides of the connecting plate. The well wall of the water collecting well can be supported, meanwhile, the well supporting box can be conveniently taken out of the water collecting well, and repeated utilization of the well supporting box is achieved.
