The invention discloses a steel plate-H-shaped steel combined type foundation pit supporting structure. The steel plate-H-shaped steel combined type foundation pit supporting structure comprises H-shaped steel arranged along the edge of a foundation pit at intervals and supporting steel plates inserted between every two adjacent H-shaped steel; grooves of every two adjacent H-shaped steel are oppositely arranged, clamping pieces are fixedly installed in the grooves of the H-shaped steel, clamping grooves are formed between the clamping pieces and flanges of the H-shaped steel, and the two ends of the supporting steel plate in the horizontal direction are inserted into the clamping grooves respectively. The invention further discloses a construction method of the steel plate-H-shaped steel combined type foundation pit supporting structure. According to the steel plate-H-shaped steel combined type foundation pit supporting structure, the clamping pieces are arranged in the grooves of the H-shaped steel, the supporting steel plate is limited through the clamping pieces and the clamping grooves of the flange pieces, the supporting steel plate is prevented from being separated from the clamping grooves, and the stability of the supporting steel plate in the construction process is guaranteed.
