The invention relates to the field of building construction, in particular to an elevator shaft protecting and supporting method. The elevator shaft protecting and supporting method comprises the following steps that a supporting assembly is prepared, supporting pieces are vertically welded to outer clamping plates, and open pre-embedded boxes used for allowing the supporting pieces to penetrate through is prepared; before pouring, the pre-embedded boxes are symmetrically mounted in wall bodies on the two opposite sides of an elevator shaft in advance; and after pouring, the supporting pieces are inserted into the embedded boxes from the outer sides of the wall bodies, the outer clamping plates are fixed to the ends, close to the outer sides of the wall bodies, of the embedded boxes, and the ends, away from the outer clamping plates, of the supporting pieces extend into the elevator shaft and are used for supporting an elevator shaft platform. The supporting pieces and the outer clamping plates can be recycled, materials are saved, and the construction cost is reduced; and the investment and dismantling amount of the supporting pieces and the outer clamping plates are small, dismantling safety risks do not exist, the workload of workers is small, the method is simple, construction is convenient, and the labor cost is reduced.
