The invention relates to the field of geotechnical engineering detection, in particular to an intelligent detection device for geotechnical engineering. The intelligent detection device comprises a supporting frame, a hinge shaft, a hanging rod, a gravity block, a guide sleeve, a centralizing device, a first lock unlocking device and a second lock unlocking device; the hinge shaft extends in the front-back direction to be arranged on the supporting frame; the upper end of the hanging rod is rotatably arranged on the hinge shaft, and the gravity block is arranged at the lower end of the hanging rod; the guide sleeve is connected with the gravity block and is used for a sampling tube to pass through; the centralizing device comprises a left centralizing part and a right centralizing part; a fixing shaft is installed on the hanging rod in an up-down sliding mode; the first lock unlocking device is used for releasing the support on the front end of the fixing shaft; and the second lock unlocking device is used for releasing support on the rear end of the fixing shaft. When the first lock unlocking device unlocks the fixed front end and the second lock unlocking device unlocks the rear end of the fixing shaft synchronously, the fixing shaft moves downwards at least under the action of gravity, and therefore, the hanging rod can be more continuously centralized when swinging is stopped so as to be closer to a vertical state.
