The invention discloses anchor cable construction auxiliary equipment and an anchor cable installation method. The equipment comprises a bearing platform, a base, a pushing sleeve and a driving device; a containing sleeve is installed on the upper portion of the bearing platform; the base is vertically provided with two lifting devices, the two lifting devices are arranged at the two ends of the containing sleeve respectively, and the upper ends of the two lifting devices are hinged to the bottom of the bearing platform separately; an anchor cable penetrates through the pushing sleeve, a clamp used for clamping the anchor cable is installed in the head end of the pushing sleeve, the tail end of the pushing sleeve is arranged in one end of the containing sleeve in a sliding mode, and internal threads are arranged at the tail end of the pushing sleeve; and the driving device comprises a transmission sleeve and a driving motor, the transmission sleeve is rotatably mounted in the other end of the containing sleeve, the first end of the transmission sleeve is provided with external threads and is screwed at the tail end, and the driving motor is mounted in the containing sleeve and is in transmission connection with the second end of the transmission sleeve. The problems that existing anchor cable construction auxiliary equipment is too simple in structure, and most of the equipment only has a supporting function are solved.
