The invention discloses an electric heating snow and ice melting system for a railway track. The system comprises a system master control terminal, one section of the system master control terminal is electrically connected with an icing detection end, one section of the system master control terminal is electrically connected with a rail monitoring end, one section of the system master control terminal is electrically connected with a rail heating end, and one section of the system master control terminal is electrically connected with a power supply input end. A rail monitoring probe monitors the rail and transmits monitoring video data to the rail monitoring end in real time, the rail monitoring end stores the monitoring video data in a storage device in real time, meanwhile, the video data are stored in a cloud database in real time through a network transmission module, and the storage device periodically stores the video data. When a monitoring system fault occurs or the whole monitoring system is detected and checked, the data is called through the storage device to carry out whole checking, and if the situation occurs for a long time, the data is called through the cloud database to carry out long-time data checking.
