The invention discloses a waterproof baffle based on a water swelling principle. The waterproof baffle comprises a door plate, swelling strips, two stand columns and eccentric pressing buckles. The two stand columns are fixed to a horizontal plane, and mounting grooves in the vertical direction are formed in the two stand columns. The two ends of the door plate are mounted in the mounting grooves of the two stand columns respectively, and the door plate comprises a plurality of sub-door plates. The multiple sub-door plates are sequentially arranged in the vertical direction; a rubber strip is arranged between every two adjacent sub-door plates; the swelling strips are arranged in the mounting grooves and attached to the stand columns and the door plate correspondingly. A plurality of pressing buckle extending holes are formed in a stand column; a pressing buckle mounting hole is formed in each sub-door plate; the position of the pressing buckle mounting hole corresponds to the position of a pressing buckle extending hole; an eccentric pressing buckle penetrates through the pressing buckle extending hole to be mounted in the pressing buckle mounting hole and is used for being buckled downwards to drive the sub-door plate to be pressed downwards.
