The method comprises the following steps: firstly, carrying out construction preparation work, sweeping a pavement base layer of a construction site, removing sundries on the pavement base layer, repairing pit slots in the pavement base layer, and stirring asphalt mixture raw materials while sweeping the pavement base layer so as to produce an asphalt mixture, and after mixing is completed, transporting the asphalt mixture to a construction site through an asphalt mixture transport vehicle. The construction process comprises the following steps: mixing an asphalt mixture, pressing indentations on a pavement base layer, paving a gravel layer, paving a sand-gravel layer, paving a waterproof glue layer, paving the asphalt mixture, rolling the asphalt mixture, and treating road joints and road edges. The multifunctional road roller can be changed into a steel wheel road roller, a pneumatic tire road roller and an indentation road roller, the conditions of bulge and fragmentation of the asphalt road caused by accumulated water under the pavement base layer are effectively prevented, and the service life of the asphalt road is prolonged.
