The preparation method comprises the following steps: putting ball-milled binding materials such as the silicon-manganese slag, the cement and the gypsum into a stirrer for dry stirring; fully mixing the above, adding water, stirring to prepare slurry, adding aluminum powder into the slurry, and fully and quickly stirring; pouring the slurry into a mold, and standing for pre-curing; and then cutting a green body, and then maintaining the green body. According to the process, the silicon-manganese slag is applied to preparation of the aerated concrete instead of fly ash, so that the problem of low content of active SiO2 in the silicon-manganese slag is solved, the problem of fly ash shortage successively appearing in some areas is also solved, and pollution caused by accumulationof the silicon-manganese slag is reduced.
