The invention discloses wallboard units and a wall surface system. The wall surface system comprises keels and a plurality of columns of wallboard units fixed on the plurality of keels, wherein the wallboard units are prefabricated in a factory; each of the wallboard units in each column comprises a wallboard body, an upper batten arranged on the upper portion of the inner board face of the wallboard body and provided with a first matching face facing the wallboard body and fixed to the inner board face of the wallboard body, a mounting face located above the upper side edge of the wallboard body, facing the corresponding keel and used for being fixed to the outer surface of the corresponding keel and an inserting strip located above the mounting face, and a lower batten arranged on the lower portion of the inner board face of the wallboard body and provided with a second matching face facing the wallboard body and fixed to the inner board face of the wallboard body and a stop strip located below the second matching face; and the stop strips and the inner board faces of the wallboard bodies define inserting grooves.
