The invention relates to an underwater bridge foundation construction method, which relates to the field of bridge construction. The method comprises the following steps of Step 1, building a cofferdam; Step 2, arranging vertical supports; Step 3, arranging transverse supports; Step 4, pumping water; and Step 5, pouring a concrete cushion layer. The fixing device comprises two fixing rods and two threaded rods, the two fixing rods are fixedly connected with the two ends of the transverse supports, the two threaded rods are fixedly connected with the cofferdam wall surface and the vertical supports; the fixing rods and the threaded rods are horizontally arranged; a threaded sleeve is glidingly sleeved outside the fixing rods in a sliding manner; the threaded sleeve is in threaded connection with the threaded rod; and a clamping connection assembly is arranged between the fixing rods and the threaded sleeve. The underwater bridge foundation construction method has the effect that the transverse supports are convenient to mount and dismount, the material reutilization efficiency is improved, and meanwhile, the working efficiency of bridge construction is greatly improved.
