An opening and/or closing device for furniture (1) in order to accelerate, brake and/or hold a movable furniture part (4) relative to a furniture body (2). The opening and/or closing device comprises a mounting element (11). The mounting element is fixable to the movable furniture part (4) or the furniture body (2) and the actuator (13) is held on the mounting element via an adjustment mechanism. The actuator (13) can be coupled to a mechanism for acceleration, braking and/or holding and can be in a first direction with respect to the mounting element (11) via a first adjustment element (15) adjust the actuator. The adjustment mechanism includes an actuator carrier (33).
