The invention provides a basement with a novel structural system and equipment pipeline space cooperating and a construction method thereof. The basement comprises an equipment pipeline and a column cap floor structure; the equipment pipeline comprises an air pipe, a fire-fighting spraying main pipe, a fire-fighting spraying branch pipe and a cable bridge; frame beams comprise the first frame beam and the second frame beam, the beam bottom elevation of the second frame beam is larger than that of the first frame beam, and the elevation difference is not smaller than 150mm; the second frame beam comprises a wide flat beam and a short span beam; during construction, the air pipe is arranged along the beam bottom of the first frame beam and/or the second frame beam; and the elevation of the lowest position of the equipment pipeline arranged at the beam bottom of the first frame beam is not lower than that of the lowest position of the equipment pipeline arranged at the beam bottom of the second frame beam. According to the basement structure and the construction method thereof, the load, span, beam thickness and beam reinforcing bars of the frame beams can be reduced, the overall arrangement of the equipment pipeline is combined, the floor height of the basement can be reduced, the construction cost can be saved, the clear height of a lane can be increased, and the quality of the basement can be improved.
