The invention relates to the technical field of building construction, and particularly relates to an aluminum alloy formwork system and a construction method thereof. An aluminum alloy formwork comprises an outer formwork body fixed to the outer vertical face of a constructed building structure, at least one inner formwork body which is parallel to the outer formwork body and arranged on the constructed building structure, and side formwork bodies arranged at the ends of the space formed by the outer formwork body and the inner formwork bodies; blocking pieces are arranged at the joints of the outer formwork body, the inner formwork bodies and the side formwork bodies and the constructed building structure; feeding assemblies are arranged at the tops of the inner formwork bodies and/or the tops of the side formwork bodies; the inner formwork bodies and the outer formwork body are connected through a plurality of opposite-pull screws; and the outer formwork body is fixed to the outer vertical face of the building structure through hanging pieces fixed to upper reversed beams of two adjacent floors. Positioning pieces used for being connected with the hanging pieces are arranged on the outer edge of the outer formwork body. According to the aluminum alloy formwork system and the construction method thereof, the risk of safety accidents such as high falling is greatly reduced, the construction efficiency is higher, and the construction period is shortened.
