The invention discloses a measuring tool for adjusting the perpendicularity of a steel column. The measuring tool comprises a shell, a magnet and a laser. The magnet is arranged on the side wall of the shell; the laser is located on the inner side of a cavity formed by the shell and fixedly connected with the shell through a supporting rod; a counterweight ball is arranged at the tail end of the laser, and the light emitting end of the laser emits light through a light emitting hole in the top end of the shell; and the supporting rod is connected with the laser through a spherical hinge connecting piece. According to the measuring tool, the stability of output laser rays is ensured, so that the accuracy of a measuring result is improved.
