The invention relates to the field of dampers, in particular to a pendulum type inertial tuned mass eddy current damper which comprises a swing rod, a simple pendulum mass block, an inertial mass block, a supporting device and a conductor plate. One end of the swing rod is rotationally connected with a structure to be subjected to vibration reduction, the other end of the swing rod is rotationally connected with the simple pendulum mass block, and the inertia mass block is slidably connected to the lower portion of the simple pendulum mass block unit; the supporting device is located below the inertial mass block and used for supporting the inertial mass block, and the conductor plate is arranged below the supporting device; the supporting device can horizontally move on the conductor plate on the inertial mass block, first magnetic steel is further arranged on the side, facing the conductor plate, of the inertial mass block, and a gap is formed between the first magnetic steel and the conductor plate. By adopting the pendulum type inertial tuned mass eddy current damper, the pendulum length of the damper can be reduced by increasing the mass of the inertial mass block under the condition that the frequency of the damper is not changed, so that the damper can be suitable for a structure with a limited installation space.
