The invention discloses anti-static ceramic and a preparation method thereof. The anti-static ceramic comprises 10%-95% of cerium and yttrium stabilized zirconium oxide, 1%-5% of aluminum oxide, 5%-90% of zinc oxide, 0.05%-5% of nickel monoxide, 0.02%-5% of titanium dioxide, 0.1%-5% of silicon dioxide, 0.02%-5% of calcium oxide and 0.1%-3% of strontium oxide, with the balance being a binder. According to the invention, a process is simple, equipment requirements are low, and the produced antistatic zirconia ceramic has the characteristics of stable chemical property, high strength, wear resistance, high hardness, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, good smoothness, stable resistance and good antistatic effect, and can be widely used in electronic ceramics, functional ceramics, biological ceramics and structural ceramics. Experimental results show that the volume resistance of the antistatic ceramic ranges from 10<4> ohms to 10<9> ohms, the strength of the antistatic ceramic ranges from 300 MPa to 800 MPa, and the hardness HV of the antistatic ceramic ranges from 600 to 900.
