The invention discloses a deformation joint connecting structure for a soil covering area of a basement roof. The deformation joint connecting structure comprises a concrete reverse ridge (9) arranged at the end of a low-span structural slab (3) and an outer flip floating slab (5) arranged at the upper end of a high-span structural slab (1). The height of the concrete reverse ridge (9) is smaller than that of the outer flip floating slab (5). The deformation joint connecting structure further comprises a waterproof roll (8) and a waterproof slab which are arranged between the concrete reverse ridge (9) and the outer flip floating slab (5) and used for edge covering. The first end of the waterproof roll (8) and the first end of the waterproof slab are fixed to the high-span structural slab (1) through screws. The second end of the waterproof roll (8) and the second end of the waterproof slab are laid on the outer wall of the concrete reverse ridge (9). According to the deformation joint connecting structure for the soil covering area of the basement roof, the form of an upper reverse concrete reverse ridge is changed into the form that the floating slab is additionally arranged on the high-span structural slab, the upper reverse concrete reverse ridge is omitted, and normal penetration of underground pipelines and the construction space of gardens are guaranteed.
