The invention provides a production method of heat-insulating brick by reusing spoil. The production method comprises the following steps: S1 fully and uniformly mixing a certain amount of cement, spoil, mineral powder and paraffin microcapsules according to a ratio, adding water and a foaming agent for foaming, then pouring the mixture into a mold, molding, demolding, and piling up through a stacker crane; S2 photographing the brick body through an arranged industrial camera, transmitting an image into a single chip microcomputer, and analyzing the image through an image data processing module; S3 comparing the detected data with crack data preset by the single chip microcomputer, if the detected data are greater than the preset data, determining that the brick body is inferior, and if the detected data is smaller than the preset data, determining that the brick body is qualified; and S4 marking the brick bodies judged to have cracks through a laser, after marking, enabling a recognition camera arranged on a mechanical claw to recognize marks, driving the mechanical claw by a control box to clamp the brick bodies with the cracks, and sorting the inferior brick bodies. The quality of the brick bodies is guaranteed, and the production efficiency is improved.
