The preparation method comprises the following steps that S1, ore raw materials are subjected to primary crushing and then screened, common sand with the particle size smaller than 25 mm is removed, and materials are obtained; S2, stone powder on the surfaces of the materials is blown away through high-pressure air, then secondary crushing and screening are conducted, the materials with the particle size larger than 30 mm are returned to be subjected to secondary crushing again, and the materials with the particle size smaller than 30 mm are subjected to tertiary crushing; S3, after third-stage crushing, screening is conducted, and materials with the particle size larger than 3 mm are returned to be subjected to third-stage crushing again; and finely screening of the material with the particle size of less than 3mm is carried out to obtain the machine-made fine sand with the particle size of 0.2-0.4 mm. By adopting the preparation method provided by the invention, the high-quality machine-made sand can be prepared without drying, so that the drying energy can be saved, and the preparation cost can be saved.
