The invention discloses a frame-core tube construction method. The method comprises the steps that step a, outer frame steel pipe columns of a frame are installed; step b, a temporary support is arranged on the side, close to the core tube, of the frame, and then floor steel beams are installed; step c, the step a to the step b are repeated, and the frame is sequentially provided with a steel structure mounting area, a steel bar mounting area and a concrete area from top to bottom; step d, in the steel bar mounting area, steel structure bearing plates are laid on the floor steel beams; step e, shear wall steel bars of the core tube are bound; step f, steel beam embedded parts of the core tube are inserted and pre-buried; step g, a shear wall formwork of the core tube is installed, and a beam formwork, a plate formwork and a stair formwork of the core tube are installed; step h, steel bars of the outer frame floor slab are bound, and meanwhile steel bars of beams, plates and stairs of the core tube are bound; step i, concrete pouring is carried out on the outer frame horizontal structure and shear walls, beams, plates and stairs of the core tube; and step j, the steps a to b are repeated, the step d is repeated, and the steps e to i are repeated.
