The invention provides a grouting guide pipe and a construction method thereof, and the grouting guide pipe comprises a first guide pipe, wherein the first end is a pointed end; a second guide pipe, the first end of the second guide pipe is in threaded connection with the second end of the first guide pipe; hollow sliding blocks, the two hollow sliding blocks are arranged on the first guide pipe and the second guide pipe in a sliding and sleeving mode respectively, the two ends of the hollow sliding block on the first guide pipe are limited, and the end, away from the first guide pipe, of the hollow sliding block on the second guide pipe is limited; expansion devices which are hinged to the hollow sliding blocks on the first guide pipe and the second guide pipe respectively, and the second guide pipe is screwed into the second guide pipe relative to the first guide pipe in a threaded mode, so that the expansion devices expand in the circumferential direction of all the guide pipes; grouting holes are formed in the circumferential walls of the first guide pipe and the second guide pipe, and grouting is conducted through the second end of the second guide pipe. According to the grouting guide pipe and the construction method thereof, the grout enters the broken rock stratum through pouring, a consolidation body high in strength and good in waterproof performance is formed, and the stability of the rock stratum is greatly improved.
