The invention relates to a method for erecting a ring lock type scaffold during curtain wall construction. The method comprises the following steps of during curtain wall construction, manufacturing a modular foldable overhanging platform component which is in a folded and contracted state, firstly, opening a lower buckling head at the end of a lower supporting rod, slightly rotating the lower supporting rod by a certain angle, the lower buckling head being far away from the vertical rod, the pedal plate and the cantilever frame being turned downwards to be in a suspended state, and the lower supporting rod and the pedal plate being fixed through an iron wire. The method is advantaged in that equirements of main body structure steel bar binding and formwork closing are met, and a problem that the distance between a scaffold and a wall is too large can be solved; during curtain wall construction, the scaffold can be turned over and folded so as to meet the requirement for a distance between the scaffold and the wall.
