The scribing equipment provided by the invention comprises a stay wire displacement sensor, and when the mobile host moves to a preset distance, the controller controls the scribing assembly to make a scribing mark, so paying-off efficiency is improved and operation difficulty is reduced on the basis of ensuring the paying-off precision. The embodiment of the invention further provides a scribing method.
