The manual rotary locking mechanism comprises a hollow base arranged on a shell of the tail wheel lock, a rotating disc is arranged in the base, a plurality of insertion slots are formed in the top surface of the rotating disc, a mounting cylinder is arranged at the upper part of the base, a cap-shaped locking button is arranged above the base, an unlocking button sleeves the outer upper end of the mounting cylinder, the inner diameter of the upper end of the mounting cylinder is larger than that of the lower end of the mounting cylinder, the outer wall of the lower end of the locking button extends outwards to form a limiting protrusion, a lock disc is arranged in the locking button, a plurality of inserting blocks capable of being inserted into the insertion slots respectively are arranged on the bottom face of the lock disc, a connecting rod penetrating through the locking button is arranged on the top face of the lock disc, a plurality of through holes are formed in the upper end wall of the mounting cylinder, steel balls are arranged in the through holes, the steel balls can protrude out of the inner wall or the outer wall of the mounting cylinder to limit the locking button or the unlocking button, first springs are arranged between the base and a locking disc and sleeve the locking button and a rotating disc, and second springs are arranged between the base and the upper end of the unlocking button and sleeve the mounting cylinder.
