The invention relates to the technical field of superhard materials, in particular to a cluster nano polycrystalline diamond-silicon carbide sintered body and a preparation method thereof.The cluster nano polycrystalline diamond-silicon carbide sintered body is prepared by sintering raw materials containing micron-sized cluster nano polycrystalline diamond particles and nano-sized silicon powder under the conditions that the pressure is 5-12 GPa and the temperature is 1100-1650 DEG C. In the cluster nano polycrystalline diamond-silicon carbide sintered body, the particle size of the cluster nano polycrystalline diamond particles and the particle size of the nano-sized silicon powder are smaller than that of the nano-sized silicon powder. And gaps among the cluster nano polycrystalline diamond particles are filled with a silicon carbide adhesive of nano crystal grains. According to the preparation method, the polycrystalline diamond particles of the clustered nanocrystals are adopted to replace single diamond crystal grains to serve as initial raw materials, the initial raw materials are mixed with the silicon powder, sintering is carried out at high temperature and high pressure, and the composite sintering body which is of a microcosmic pure nanostructure and is composed of the polycrystalline diamond particles of the nanocrystals and the silicon carbide particles of the nanocrystals in the true sense is obtained; the hardness is extremely high; and meanwhile, the large-scale production of the cluster nano polycrystalline diamond-silicon carbide sintered body can be realized under the pressure condition of the existing super-hard material factory production.
本发明涉及超硬材料技术领域,具体涉及一种团簇纳米聚晶金刚石‑碳化硅烧结体及其制备方法,由包含微米级的团簇纳米聚晶金刚石颗粒和纳米级的硅粉的原料,在5GPa~12GPa,1100℃~1650℃条件下烧结制成,在团簇纳米聚晶金刚石‑碳化硅烧结体中,团簇纳米聚晶金刚石颗粒的缝隙间填充有纳米晶粒的碳化硅粘接剂。本发明采用团簇的纳米晶粒的聚晶金刚石颗粒替代单个金刚石晶粒作为初始原料,并与硅粉混合,在高温高压下进行烧结,获得具有真正意义上由纳米晶粒多晶金刚石和纳米晶粒碳化硅构成的微观纯纳米结构的复合烧结体,兼具极高的硬度;同时在现有超硬材料工厂生产使用的压力条件下可实现该团簇纳米聚晶金刚石‑碳化硅烧结体的大规模生产。
