The invention relates to a two-component water-based waterproof coating and a preparation method thereof. The two-component water-based waterproof coating is prepared by mixing the following components in parts by weight: powder consisting of 8.5 kg of cement, 0.7 kg of coal ash, 4.8 kg of sand and 6 kg of emulsion, and liquid consisting of 10 kg of emulsion, 9 kg of deionized water, 0.5 kg of defoaming agent and 0.5 kg of preservative; the emulsion is 808A two-component elastic waterproof emulsion; the preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing and stirring a powder material and a liquid material according to a weight ratio of 1: 1, pre-stirring cement to prevent cement coagulation, adding 8.5 kg of cement when 0.7 kg of coal ash, 4.8 kg of sand and 6 kg of emulsion are prepared, stirring together to form a powder material, and then mixing and stirring the powder material and the liquid material to form the double-component water-based waterproof coating. The double-component water-based waterproof coating produced by the method is good in performance.
