The invention discloses a variable steel plate composite shear wall which comprises a first wall body steel plate and a second wall body steel plate parallel to the first wall body steel plate, the ends, on the same side, of the first wall body steel plate and the second wall body steel plate are connected with the same end column, and a supporting mechanism is arranged between the first wall body steel plate and the second wall body steel plate; the supporting mechanism comprises a sliding module arranged on the side walls of the opposite ends of the first wall body steel plate and the second wall body steel plate in a sliding mode and a supporting web member module movably arranged on the sliding module, and a driving mechanism outputting telescopic linear power is arranged on the side wall of the end column. The driving mechanism adjusts the distribution density of the supporting web member modules in the length direction. The variable steel plate composite shear wall has the flexible and adjustable capacity, can be well suitable for use occasions with various wall body plane bending rigidity requirements such as light load and heavy load, meanwhile, performance and material redundancy cannot be caused, cost is effectively controlled, and economical efficiency is improved.
