According to the cleaning device suitable for the sediment in the measuring weir groove, the measuring weir comprises the measuring weir groove and a measuring weir plate, and the cleaning device is installed in the measuring weir groove in a sliding connection mode and located on one side of the upstream face of the measuring weir plate; the cleaning device is mainly composed of a bottom plate, a baffle and a wing plate, the baffle is attached to and parallel to the flow measuring weir plate, the highest point of the baffle is not higher than the lowest point of a water outlet in the flow measuring weir plate, and the bottom plate and the wing plate are connected to the lower portion of the side, away from the flow measuring weir plate, of the baffle and the two side portions of the baffle respectively to define a containing cavity attached to the inner wall of a flow measuring weir groove. According to the invention, deposits can be cleaned economically and conveniently, and the measurement precision and the service life of monitoring equipment are prevented from being affected.
