The invention provides a supporting and adjusting device for a pitched roof formwork ridge and a supporting method of the supporting and adjusting device. The supporting and adjusting device comprises an equilateral triangle supporting frame with three sides consistent in length or an isosceles triangle supporting frame with two sides consistent in length, and a jacking fixedly arranged in the middle of the bottom edge of the supporting frame. The supporting frame is located at the internal corner of a ridge and attached to the inner surface of a pitched roof formwork. Moreover, extension edges are arranged on the two side edges, attached to the inner surface of the pitched roof formwork, of the supporting frame, and the extension edges are used for prolonging the supporting length of the supporting frame to the pitched roof formwork; the jacking support is used for jacking and supporting the supporting frame. By means of the supporting method and using the supporting adjusting device, elevation and angle control in the installation process of the pitched roof formwork is ensured, construction quality is reliable, construction efficiency is greatly improved, the later-period maintenance rate is reduced, and meanwhile safety and reliability are better achieved.
