The invention provides a method for preparing microcrystal foamed ceramic by using lithium leaching residues and the microcrystal foamed ceramic. The method for preparing the microcrystal foamed ceramic by using the lithium leaching residues comprises the following steps: carrying out flotation on the lithium leaching residues to remove sulfate-containing minerals so as to obtain a material A; mixing and ball-milling the material A, a conditioning agent and a foaming agent, then drying to obtain a material B, and then firing the material B to obtain the microcrystal foamed ceramic. The microcrystal foamed ceramic is prepared by using the method for preparing the microcrystal foamed ceramic by using the lithium leaching residues.
