The invention discloses a water hammer protection structure and method for reducing the height of a pressure stabilizing tower of a water delivery system, the water hammer protection structure comprises an upstream reservoir and a booster pump station, a flow regulating valve and the pressure stabilizing tower are sequentially arranged between the upstream reservoir and the booster pump station, the flow regulating valve is located at the upstream of the pressure stabilizing tower, and a flow meter and a pressure sensor are arranged at the upstream of the flow regulating valve; an overflow groove is formed in the upper portion of the pressure stabilizing tower, the elevation of the overflow groove is larger than the maximum operation water level in the pressure stabilizing tower under the constant flow working condition, when the water conveying system operates under the large flow working condition, the flow adjusting valve is kept fully open, the water supply requirement is met through pressurization of the pump station, and when the water conveying system operates under the small flow working condition, the flow adjusting valve is closed. The flow adjusting valve can automatically control the opening degree of the valve according to feedback values of the pressure sensor and the flow meter, redundant pressure water head of the water conveying system is reduced, and therefore the water level in the pressure stabilizing tower is controlled to be a certain critical value. The height of the pressure stabilizing tower of the long-distance multi-branch water conveying system can be reduced, the pressure bearing grade of a water conveying pipeline behind the pressure stabilizing tower is reduced, and therefore engineering investment is saved.
本发明公开了一种减小输水系统稳压塔高度的水锤防护结构及方法,包括上游蓄水池和加压泵站,所述的上游蓄水池和加压泵站之间依次设有调流阀和稳压塔,调流阀位于稳压塔上游,调流阀上游布置有流量计和压力传感器,稳压塔的上部设有溢流槽,所述溢流槽的高程大于恒定流工况下稳压塔内的最大运行水位,输水系统在大流量工况运行时,调流阀保持全开,依靠泵站加压来满足供水需求,在输水系统在小流量工况运行时,调流阀可根据压力传感器及流量计的反馈值自动控制阀门的开度,削减输水系统富余的压力水头,从而将稳压塔内的水位控制在某一临界值。本发明可减小长距离多支线输水系统稳压塔的高度,降低稳压塔后输水管道的承压等级,从而节省工程投资。
