The invention provides an automatic opening and closing device for a rear door of a cargo delivery vehicle. Comprises: a rear door formed by connecting a plurality of unit door panels (30) through a door connecting bracket (31) and opened or closed in a lifting manner; door rollers (20) provided on both sides of a connection portion of the unit door panels (30); and a pair of door guide rails (10) for guiding the movement of the door roller (20), the pair of door guide rails (10) including a vertical portion (10a) provided in the rear interior of a vehicle compartment (100), horizontal portions (10c) provided on both sides of the upper portion of the interior of the vehicle compartment, and corner portions (10b) connecting the vertical portion (10a) and the horizontal portions (10c) in a circular arc shape, the door guide rails (10) being characterized by being provided with: chain driving devices respectively provided on the lower portions of the horizontal portions (10c) of the door guide rails (10); the chain connecting supports (50) are arranged on the two sides of the rear door and connected with the chain; and a remote controller (60) for wirelessly driving the chain driving device, and rotating the chain by the operation of the remote controller (60) to open or close the rear door.
