The invention discloses a cantilever plate external corner reinforcement construction method. The method comprises the following steps that 1, a formwork is erected for a cantilever plate; 2, short steel bars on the upper skin of the external corner are laid; 3, long-direction steel bars, perpendicular to the short-direction steel bars, of the external corner upper skin are laid; 4, binding bidirectional steel bars at the intersection points; 5, determining the thickness of a concrete protection layer of the length-direction reinforcing steel bars according to different environment types; and 6, concrete is poured. According to the construction method, the structure is simple and clear; construction is easy, and the steel bar amount is easy to calculate; the concrete protection layer of the negative reinforcement cannot be enlarged due to the radiation reinforcement; when no plate exists in the corner chamber, the negative reinforcement can be anchored into the edge beam; radial ribs are omitted, the configuration range of bidirectional distribution ribs is reduced, the arrangement range of bidirectional negative ribs is extended to the outer edge of the cantilever plate, and the length type of the negative ribs cannot be increased; the stress ribs are allowed to be lapped, and when the cantilever length of the cantilever slab is large, the bidirectional negative ribs can be lapped in a staggered mode.
