The invention discloses a prefabricated floor slab which comprises at least one prefabricated floor slab unit (1) made of concrete and reserved steel bars (5) prefabricated on the periphery of the prefabricated floor slab unit (1), through holes (2) are formed in the prefabricated floor slab unit (1) in the longitudinal direction, and a first gap is formed between every two adjacent prefabricated floor slab units (1). The width of each first gap is larger than the length of the extending part of the corresponding reserved steel bar (5), when the prefabricated floor slab units (1) are installed, the reserved steel bars (5) of every two adjacent prefabricated floor slab units (1) in the first gaps are arranged in a staggered mode, concrete is poured into the first gaps, and the reserved steel bars (5) of the prefabricated floor slab units (1) are connected with the supporting components (6) through the concrete. The prefabricated floor slab does not need a cast-in-place laminated layer in the installation process, the anti-seismic property is improved, the invention further discloses an installation method of the prefabricated floor slab, and the beneficial effects of the prefabricated floor slab are the same as those of the prefabricated floor slab.
