The invention relates to asphalt pellets comprising at least one chemical additive selected from the group consisting of: compounds of general formula (I): R1-(COOH) z; and a compound of general formula (II): R-(NH) nCONH-(X) m-NHCO (NH) n-R '. The invention also relates to a method for transporting and/or storing road bitumen under cold conditions, said bitumen being transported and/or stored in the form of bitumen pellets according to the invention. The invention also relates to the use of the asphalt pellets according to the invention as a road binder, to the use thereof for producing a mixture, and to a method for producing a mixture.
