The dry-mixed mortar thickening agent is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 20-40 parts of limestone powder; 5 to 15 parts of nano kaolin; 4 to 10 parts of silicon tetrachloride; the modifier comprises a surfactant and a coupling agent which are mixed according to a mass ratio of (1-3): (2-4); the preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, primary mixing: mixing the limestone powder with the modifier according to the formula to obtain a primary mixture; s2, blending: mixing the primary mixture, nano kaolin and silicon tetrachloride to obtain the dry-mixed mortar thickening agent. The composition/product provided by the invention has the advantage of improving the strength of mortar; in addition, the preparation method has the advantages of being easy to operate and wide in application.
