The invention discloses a cover-excavation forward and reverse combined construction method for a multi-layer large-span deep foundation pit in an urban core area, and relates to the technical field of underground structure engineering construction. The construction method comprises a ground, a first underground layer, a second underground layer, a third underground layer and a fourth underground layer, and comprises the following construction steps that enclosure structure stand column piles, uplift piles and temporary stand columns are constructed from the ground; constructing a first-stage fence, and constructing a north side cover plate; constructing a second-stage fence, constructing other cover plates, arranging a temporary concrete support at a hole, excavating a soil body to a bottom plate of the negative first layer, temporarily replacing a plate of the negative second layer by hoisting and erecting a steel support, removing the temporary steel support of the negative second layer, and constructing the bottom plate of the negative second layer, side walls of the underground second layer and the underground third layer and the temporary concrete support. By means of the cover and excavation forward and reverse combined construction method, part of structural plates are replaced with steel supports in the construction process, other structural plates are temporarily supported through concrete, part of structural layers are subjected to forward construction, and part of structural layers are subjected to reverse construction, so that the construction period is remarkably shortened.
