The invention discloses novel environment-friendly foamed cement light soil and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the field of light soil. The novel environment-friendly foam cement light soil is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: cement, a mineral admixture, a foaming agent, water, modified banana stem fibers and orange peel fibers, and the raw materials for preparing the banana stem fibers comprise banana stem fibers, toluene diisocynate and a solvent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: stirring and mixing toluene diisocynate and a solvent, then adding banana stem fibers, continuously stirring and mixing, filtering, and drying a filter body to obtain modified banana stem fibers; stirring and mixing a foaming agent and water to obtain a foam mixed solution; and stirring and mixing the modified banana stem fiber and the orange peel fiber, then adding a mineral admixture and cement, continuously stirring, then adding water, continuously stirring, then adding the foam mixed solution, and continuously stirring to obtain the novel environment-friendly foam cement light soil. The method has the advantage that the strength of the foamed cement light soil is improved.
