Method for treating exhaust gas
In a method for treating exhaust gases containing CO2, such as exhaust gases from a cement production plant, the following steps are carried out:-combusting a fuel in a combustion reactor wherein the O2 content of the exhaust gases is used as an oxidizing agent,-controlling the combustion in the combustion reactor, the method is characterized in that the exhaust gas from the combustion reactor contains less than 10% by volume of oxygen and at least 80% by volume of a mixture of CO and CO2, the exhaust gas from the combustion reactor is fed to a conversion reactor in which CO2 and optionally CO contained in the exhaust gas are converted to a hydrocarbon fuel.
