According to the method, a treatment mode of reducing the surface roughness of the channel surface of the rectification section is adopted, the upstream and downstream submerging degree of the measuring weir groove is improved, and the measuring weir groove can accurately calculate the channel flow through a flow measuring formula under the high submerging degree; the problems that the flood degree of a measuring weir groove is too high and flow cannot be accurately measured due to the fact that the slope of a channel is too slow can be effectively solved.
