The invention discloses a method for replacing a soft soil interlayer in a foundation, which comprises the following steps of: drilling holes in a to-be-treated foundation area, including a central drill hole positioned at the central position and peripheral drill holes distributed around the central drill hole; then the drill bit is replaced with a high-pressure jet drill bit, the high-pressure jet drill bit is placed in the soft soil interlayer in the center drill hole, high-speed and high-pressure water flow jetted by the high-pressure jet drill bit is used for cutting a soil body of the soft soil interlayer within a certain range, and the soil body is stirred and diluted to be in a flowable slurry state; then a water stop plug is arranged on the upper portion of the protective pipe of the center drill hole, a guide pipe of the water stop plug is connected with a started air compressor or a high-pressure water pump on the ground through a high-pressure connecting pipe, high-pressure air or water enters the protective pipe on the lower portion of the water stop plug through the guide pipe of the water stop plug, and slurry in the soft soil interlayer is driven to be discharged along the surrounding drill holes nearby; and a local cavity is formed in the soft soil interlayer, and the backfill soil layer on the upper portion collapses to fill the cavity, so that the soft soil interlayer is subjected to replacement treatment.
