According to the gypsum plaster board and the preparation method thereof provided by the invention, the problem that aerogel powder easily floats on the surface of gypsum slurry is solved, the board surface density and damp deflection of the gypsum plaster board are reduced, and the water absorption rate of the board is reduced; the strength and the hardness of the gypsum plaster board are improved.
