The machine (1) comprises:-at least one lateral welding device (3) provided with a lateral heating plate (13) adapted to heat a main profile piece (5) and a corresponding lateral profile piece (6); and-at least one intermediate welding device (4) provided with an intermediate heating plate (18) adapted to heat the main profile piece (5) and the corresponding transverse profile piece (7); wherein the main profile part (5) comprises a pair of intermediate regions (19) to be welded, and the transverse profile part (7) comprises a pair of transverse regions (21) to be welded; wherein at least one of the main profile part (5) or the transverse profile part (7) comprises a groove (43), which is formed on the peripheral edge of the relevant area (19, 21) to be welded; and wherein the intermediate welding device (4) comprises at least one receiving element (50, 51) adapted to abut on the at least one groove (43) to define a receiving compartment (52) of the weld bead.
